Maranatha means “Come, Lord.”
And that is our cry.
We need the Lord to come into our lives.
We need the Lord to come into our churches.
We need the Lord to come into our nation.
And more than anything, we need Him to remain, to abide.
In 2012, our lives were forever changed at a conference much like this one. At the time, we were tired, burned out, and ready to step away from ministry. But in a moment, on the right side of the sanctuary at Crossroads Tabernacle, I (Michael) encountered the Lord in a way that altered the trajectory of our lives. He placed within us a hunger for His Presence that has not diminished over the past fourteen years. If anything, it has only grown stronger.
Our hope is not that you are merely inspired or entertained, though we trust this will be a meaningful time. Our hope is not simply that you learn something new to preach or take home, though we believe the Lord will speak personally and powerfully to each of you. And our hope is not that you leave with another strategy, system, or program to implement in your church.
Our prayer is that every person here encounters the Lord in such a way that it awakens a holy ache for more of His Presence and ignites a true Maranatha cry in the heart.
Prayer is where our hearts engage the Father. It draws us beyond human explanation and positions us in deep trust and surrender to Him.
King of Glory, come.
Invade our hearts and minds.
Maranatha,
Pastor Michael and April Perkins
